HOSTING OVERSEAS STUDENTS

 Franco-Italian Cultural Exchange
- From 5 to 13 May 2007 a group of sixteen seconde SMS (Health and Social Sciences) and STG (Management Science and Technology) students from the Lycée la Cadenelle in Marseille went on an exchange trip to Sicily.
They visited Palermo and took part in classes at the Liceo d'Alessandro.
They stayed with Italian families and were fully immersed in their daily life.
- From 25 March to 1 April a group of 15 Italian secondary school students stayed with families of seconde SMS and STG students from the Lycée La Cadenelle.
During this week they took part in classes and had the opportunity to discover our region, visiting the oil mill at Le Castelas, Baux de Provence, La Ciotat, etc.

| Chinese student exchange |
The ISMCadenelle hosted 18 Chinese students.
During the 2001-2002 academic year, 18 Chinese students took part in a French refresher course to be able to study for their BTS (Higher Technician Certificate) at the ISMCadenelle.On this occasion they were invited to Marseille town hall along with BTS CI (International Commerce) students by the Chinese Consul.
Ten of these students continued their studies at the Institute
In the 2002-2003 academic year, this experience was repeated with new Chinese students in their adaptation year.
From 8 to 22 December 2003
The ISMCadenelle hosted 30 Bolivian students. The 30 Bolivians stayed with families of ISMC students. They attended classes and took part in student life until the Christmas holidays.
From 26 to 29 November 2003
The ISMCadenelle hosted 6 Swedish teachers from the "Hässelby Gymnasium".
A partnership between the two establishments should allow our students to "experience" cultural Europe.
